CANCELLATION: The economics of running a small inn in a
resort area necessitates a fairly strict cancellation
policy. In the event of a cancellation ten (10) days or less
before the arrival date, regardless of the reason, the guest
expressly authorizes the innkeeper to charge the balance due
to the guest’s credit card, less any nights that the
innkeeper is able to re-book.
Most all Idyllwild inns have
very similar cancellation policies.
EARLY DEPARTURES: Cedar Street Inn & Spa guarantees to
hold a room for you for all the dates you reserve. Guest
guarantees payment for all the days reserved. There are no
refunds for early departures. We strive for repeat business
and will make every effort to re-book the room night (s)
that were reserved for you.
RESERVATION GUARANTEE: A booking deposit equivalent to
one-night’s lodging is due and collected at the time of the
booking. If you must cancel, your deposit, less a $25
processing fee, is refundable if we are notified at least
ten (10) days in advance (30) days for group, special
events, and holidays. December 15th thru January 3rd are
considered holidays.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: The guest agrees to be responsible for
loss, damage or excessive cleaning regardless of the amount
of any security deposit. If there is a credit/debit card on
file the guest gives express permission to use the card as
security for said charges. If the guest pays by cash or
check, the equivalent of a cash security deposit in the
amount of $250 will be paid along with the booking deposit.
MINIMUM STAYS: Although two night stays are required on
weekends at the Inn, a Friday or Saturday night may be
booked for one night to “fill in a hole”, or as a last
minute booking. Add $10.00 per night for Holiday weekends.
Rental Cabins may be booked for single nights on weekdays or
as a last minute booking for a weekend night with a cleaning
surcharge of $50.
CHECK-IN/OUT: Check in time is from 2:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.;
late arrivals are only accepted with prior approval. When
occupancy is high we cannot guarantee that accommodations
will be ready by 2:00 p.m., although we make every effort
toward that goal. Check out time is by 11 a.m. Extensions
may be made at a small charge.
OCCUPANCY/CHILDREN: Families with young children or more
than one child are generally directed to one of our rental
cabins. Our pricing is based on double occupancy. Occupancy
by more than two guests adds from $10 to $15 per guest per
night. Occupancy is established at the time of the initial
booking. The innkeeper must be notified in advance about any
change in the number of guests, which might require separate
accommodations or an extra fee. The occupancy for most of
the rooms at the Inn is two persons. The vacation rental
homes range in occupancy from two to ten persons.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is only allowed on decks or patios and
not inside any of our properties.
POLICY ENFORCEMENT: Violating a policy can be grounds for
immediate eviction, forfeiture of lodging fees and liability
for damages.
LIABILITY WAIVER: Guest agrees to sign a liability waiver
at check in.
